Michaeline 'Micci' Janczy

NIAGARA, Wis. — Michaeline Bernadette “Micci” Janczy (née Piszczor), 92, of Armstrong Creek, Wis., passed away peacefully on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026, at Maryhill Manor in Niagara, Wis.

Born on Feb. 1, 1934, in Chicago, Michaeline lived a full and vibrant life dedicated to her family, community, and cherished traditions.

Micci was best known in the Armstrong Creek community as the beloved co-owner of Stan & Micci’s Bar, which she ran alongside her late husband, Stanley A. Janczy, who preceded her in death in 1995. The bar became a cornerstone of the community — a place where friendships were forged and memories were made.

Beyond her role at the bar, Micci was an active member and officer of the ladies auxiliary, contributing tirelessly to local causes and fostering a spirit of camaraderie among her peers. Her favorite pastime was being the biggest fan at all of her grandkids’ sporting and school activities.

Family was at the heart of Micci’s life. She was immensely proud of her five children: Sandy (Bill), Patty (Randy), Bill (Becky), Michael (Susan), and Michelle (Tom); her 10 grandchildren: Nicole (Eric), Zack (LeAnn), Taylor (Adrianna), Andrew (Kristie), Jessica (Isaiah), Stanley (Maddie), Jacob (Vanessa), Emily, Megan (Edwin), and John; her 15 great-grandchildren: Liam, Zhanna, Ethan, Octavia, Matthew, Juniper, Ariyah, Jace, Tanner, Vayda, Kade, Alyssa, Aurora, Alia, and Maddix; brother Ronald Piszczor; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Micci’s faith was an integral part of her life. She and her family were devoted members of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. Her connection to her faith community provided strength and comfort throughout her years.

In addition to her dedication to family and faith, Micci enjoyed a variety of hobbies that brought joy to her life. She participated in Birthday Club gatherings with friends and found creative expression through ceramics. Bowling was another pastime she cherished over the years.

Micci’s warmth and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew her. Her legacy is one of love for family and community — a legacy that will continue to inspire those whose lives she touched.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 6, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church in Armstrong Creek with Father Soja Joseph presiding. Visitation is at church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. Burial will take place in Pine Hill Cemetery this spring.

Micci’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to all staff members at Maryhill Manor for their exceptional, compassionate care.

Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee, Wis., is assisting Micci’s family with arrangements.
