Susan L. Anderson

Susan was born on Feb. 24, 1970, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Arthur Anderson and the late Carolyn Anderson. She was a lifelong resident of Kingsford.

She attended school at North Dickinson in the Hearing-Impaired Classroom.

Through Northpointe placements, she worked at many local motels, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church office, and at Goodwill. She loved to work. When her mom planned a trip, she would have to hide the suitcases knowing she would never get Sue in the car if she knew she was going to miss work.

Susan loved swimming, dancing, and watching movies. Holidays were her favorite. When one ended, she would count the days until the next one.

It would be impossible to list everyone who touched her life. If you met her, you were her friend and never forgotten.

She is lovingly survived by her brother, David (Lily) Anderson; a sister-in-law, Mickey Johnson; and nieces and nephews Ryan Anderson, Krista (Tim) Niemela, Kyle (Jennifer) Anderson, and Kari Anderson.

In addition to both of her parents, Susan was preceded in death by three brothers, Donald, Daniel and Dale Anderson.
