John S. Gasparach Jr.
KINGSFORD — John S. Gasparach Jr., 89, of Kingsford, passed away on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at his home.
He was born Oct. 10, 1936, in Iron Mountain, son of the late John Gasparach Sr. and Viola (Moln) Christensen.
John grew up and attended school in Iron Mountain. He served in the United States Army from 1953 until his honorable discharge in 1956.
John worked at Champion, the City of Kingsford, and retired from Standard Service and Supply, where he worked for many years. John was a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers and the International Brotherhood of Teamsters.
John was an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp.

Survivors include his daughters, Denise (Raymond) Kuder of Kingsford, Dianne Martin of Kingsford, and Debra Grailer of Iron Mountain; one sister, Judy (Dan) Schumacher of Fond du Lac, Wis.; grandchildren Charles and Daniel Kuder, Brianna Lynch and Travis Grailer; great-grandchildren Adrian, Vanessa, and Veronica Lynch; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by the love of his life, Sandra (Dams) Mutsch; and one sister, Mary Trecartin.
