IRON MOUNTAIN — June J. Hostettler, 94, of Iron Mountain, peacefully passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson, with family by her side.
June was born on Sept. 15, 1931, in Marinette, Wis., daughter of the late Leo and Loretta (Monosso) Bourassa. June attended Kingsford High School and graduated in 1950.
June married Cecil “Happy” Hostettler on Sept. 20th, 1957, and they resided in Iron Mountain, where they owned Happy’s Café for 30 years. June was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church for many years. June was also a Cub Scout Den Mother and enjoyed volunteering at the Breen Center, playing cards with friends, and spending time with family.
June is survived by her three children, Kim (Keith) Mashak of Kingsford, Marsha (Craig) Olson of Iron Mountain, and Robert (Kim) Hostettler of Quinnesec; a stepson, Richard Hostettler of Chilton, Wis.; eight grandchildren, James Richard III, Jamie (Daniel) Tuescher, Matt Mashak (Crystal), Brian (Jessica) Mashak, Brent (Jessica) Hostettler, Moriah (Jacob) Meneghini, Richard (Brooklyn) Hostettler, and Maria (Joshua) Linck; and great-grandchildren Macy, Gage, Dante, Italy, Brayah, Lexi, and Mason.
June was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cecil; a daughter, Sandra; and grandchildren Tammy Richard and James Richard Jr.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, followed by an 11 a.m. service at the funeral home. Pastor Walter Reichle will officiate, and burial will be in the Quinnesec Cemetery.
