Shira Painter
ALPHA — Shira Ann Painter, 81, of Alpha, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls.
She was born on July 17, 1944, in Kingsford, to the late Edward and Josephine (Clement) Cahee.
She was a graduate of Kingsford High School, Class of 1963.
Shira is survived by the love of her life, Paul Kaylor; daughters Angie, Kim, and Carrie; and brother Dan Cahee.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Nila; brothers Jerry, Paul, and Jim; and sister Marilyn.
In accordance with Shira’s wishes, no formal services will be held.
