Connor Dunlap

KINGSFORD — Connor Allyn Dunlap, 21, of Kingsford/Niagara, Wis., passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

He was born in Iron Mountain on July 7, 2004, to Scott and Michelle Dunlap. Connor attended Republic Michigamme Schools prior to graduating from Niagara High School in 2023. His time on the basketball team for Niagara was particularly memorable.

He worked several odd jobs before taking a position as a welder with Systems Control/Hubbell. He loved spending time outdoors, especially time on or in the water. Trout fishing, swimming, hunting, camping and harvesting morel mushrooms were his favorite. If he was stuck inside, Connor liked watching the Milwaukee Bucks as well as his podcasts and Youtube videos.

More than anything Connor loved spending time with his family and friends, even his elusive cat Abe Lincoln. Connor leaves fond memories of a hardworking, young penny-pincher drinking a hot cup of coffee and wearing a Carhartt hoodie regardless of how warm the weather was.

Connor will be deeply missed by his parents, Michelle Dunlap (Kyle) and Scott Dunlap; brother Jacob Dunlap (Brogan); significant other Nadia Malkowski; grandparents Paul and Lois Dillon; aunts and uncles Paula (Ryan) Weaver, Cindy Brem, Lana (Kim) DeForge and Mike Dunlap; and many other special cousins and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alvin and Joanne Dunlap.

Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 8, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home, 901 Carpenter Ave., followed by a Sharing of Memories at 6 p.m. Burial will be in the Niagara Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Connor’s name.
