NORWAY -- Lawrence "Larry" Allan Bolek, 71, of Norway, went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at his home in Norway.
He was born March 24, 1955, in Norway, the son of the late Edward and Arlene (Alm) Bolek. Larry graduated from Norway High School in 1973.
He married Carla Calo on Oct. 18, 1980, at St. Mary St. Joseph Church in Iron Mountain. She preceded him in death on Oct. 15, 2022.
Larry worked for Norway Gravure from 1975 to 1987 and then at Oak Crest Golf Club for 31 years, retiring in 2019.
He is survived by his son, Brett Bolek; sister Lori (Ric) Parolini of Wisconsin Rapids, Wis.; sister-in-law Hester Bolek of Bear Lake; nephews Jason (Kimberly) Bolek of New Lennox, Ill., and Kevin Bolek of Chino Hills, Calif.; and aunt Lorraine DeBakker of Norway.
Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Bolek.
Family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Aurora BayCare in Marinette and Green Bay and Northwoods Home Care and Hospice.
Private family services will be held.
Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
