NORWAY -- William "Bill" Henry Falk, 83, of Norway, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at Evergreen Assisted Living in Norway.
He was born in Stambaugh on June 27, 1943, the son of the late Elmer and Dorothy (Owens) Falk.
Bill graduated from Iron River High School in 1961.
He served his country in the U.S. National Guard during the Detroit riots.
Bill married Patricia Krans on April 15, 1967, in St. Agnes Church in Iron River. She preceded him in death on Dec. 28, 2005.
He loved anything classic cars, going on cruises and car shows. Bill enjoyed spending time with his car club friends and in the winter months he liked to go skiing at Ski Brule with his son, Mike, and his wife, Pat.
Bill enjoyed his daily lunches out to eat with his group of friends, going to all the local spots to eat and talk about cars.
He was a member of the Vulcan-Norway-Loretto Lions Club and a member of St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan.
Bill is survived by his son, Mike (Julie) Falk of Norway; grandsons Michael (Jessica Johnson) Falk and Joseph Falk; granddaughter Anna Falk; sisters-in-law Jean (Dennis) Baker of Houlton, Wis., and Fran (Mark) Westphal of Cape Coral, Fla.; many nieces and nephews; special friend Dianne Castelaz-Chiapusio; and many other close friends.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Edna Mae Sabol.
Family will greet friends on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway. If you are planning to come to the funeral home, please bring your classic car with you.
The memorial service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m. at funeral home, with Father Janusz Romanek of St. Mary St. Joseph Church in Iron Mountain presiding.
Interment will be held at the Norway Township Cemetery.
