NORWAY -- June "Kathy" A. Tesch, 84, of Norway, passed away Thursday, Aug. 13, 2026, at Freeman Nursing & Rehab in Kingsford.
She was born Feb. 6, 1942, in Green Bay, Wis., daughter of the late Neil and Margaret (Meyer) Stordeur. Kathy grew up in Green Bay and was a graduate of Green Bay West High School, Class of 1960.
On Dec. 2, 1961, in Green Bay, she was united in marriage to Gordon Tesch. Kathy and Gordon resided in Green Bay until 1973 before moving to Ogema, Wis. They moved to Norway in 1985.
Kathy enjoyed making jewelry, fishing, watching westerns, and was an avid casino enthusiast. She will be remembered for being a collector of many things, including porcelain and Barbie dolls. Kathy especially loved the time she spent at camp with her family and friends.
Survivors include her loving husband of 64 years, Gordon Tesch; three sons, Gary (Rochelle) Tesch of Adams Friendship, Wis., Guy (Michelle) Tesch of Armstrong Creek, Wis., and Gregory (Patti) Tesch of Alaska; two daughters, Candi Tesch of Norway and April (Bob) Peterson of Norway; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and sisters Sally Meyer and Mary Buchholz.
In addition to her parents, Kathy was preceded in death by her twin sister, Joan; sisters Susie and Judy; and by her beloved dog, Charmin.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 1 until 3 p.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. The Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 3 p.m. Pastor Jim Danielson will officiate.
