NIAGARA, Wis. -- Andrew "Andy" Tyrcha, 68, of Niagara, Wis., passed away unexpectedly Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson.
He was born in Chicago on March 16, 1958, son of the late John and Genevieve (Lawson) Tyrcha. Andy was united in marriage to his beloved wife, Susie, on June 23, 2012, and they shared 14 wonderful years of marriage together.
From an early age, Andy developed a fascination with trains, especially model trains, which remained a special interest throughout his life. He also had a deep passion for music and loved playing his guitar. Andy was a lifelong avid Chicago Bears fan. Throughout his battle with leukemia, Andy fought a courageous and valiant fight, facing each challenge with strength and determination.
Andy is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Susie; four siblings, Barbara (Bob) Schroeder, Steven Tyrcha, Dawn Radvilas, and Jeannine Dukes; mother-in-law and father-in-law, William and Anita Neuburg; brothers-in-law Joe (Debra) and Billy (Felicia) Neuburg; and further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Kimberly Ave., Iron Mountain from 10 a.m. until the time of his Memorial Service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Dr. Nicholas Hopman is officiating. Burial will be in the Niagara Cemetery at a later date.
Roubal Funeral Home in Wausaukee is assisting Andy's family with arrangements.
