SPREAD EAGLE, Wis. -- Pamla Marie Tyner, 64, of Spread Eagle, Wis., passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior at her home surrounded by her loving family on Oct. 7, 2026. Pam bravely battled lung cancer and lung disease for the past 17 years.
She was born on Labor Day, Sept. 3, 1962, the fifth daughter born to Arthur and Mary Jane (Smail) Gendron. Pam was a lifelong resident of the local area and graduated from Kingsford High School Class of 1980, where she formed many lifelong friendships, including her best friend, Misty (Gibler) Pierce.
Following graduation, Pam began her favorite role as a mother to her son, Nathan, followed by daughter Natalie and son Jonathan. Pam married Derrick Tyner on July 18, 1992, and they celebrated 34 years of marriage, friendship and adventures together. Pam worked in different areas of secretarial work and was known as the local computer repair lady before her health issues forced her to retire.
Pam was known for her quick wit, spunky personality and giving heart. Small but mighty is a definition of the person she was. Pam overcame many personal challenges in life and always gave credit to her faith and family for carrying her through. Pam was proud of her 28 years of sobriety and renewed faith; her testimony is one that has inspired and encouraged many. After moving to Spread Eagle, she could be found out on her fishing boat, four wheeler, or having a fire by the lake.
Pam was very proud of all the renovations Derrick made to their lake house and loved to be home in her living room with their dog Max. Pam also liked to host family meals and spend time with friends and family. Pam excelled at her role as Grammy to her grandchildren, whom she affectionately called her "Grands". When she was able, Pam traveled often to see her grandchildren living in Tennessee and Minnesota.
Pam is survived by her husband of 34 years, Derrick, and their children: son Nathan Harper and his boys, Derrick James (DJ) and Alden of Hendersonville, Tenn.; daughter Natalie Kasten and her children, Henry, Ella and Oliver of Iron Mountain; and her son, Jonathan (Roberta) Tyner and their children, Leland, Louie, Toby and Kyrian of Bemidji, Minn. Pam is further survived by her sisters, Linda (Bob) Peronto, Debbie (Mike) Polzin, and Trina Gendron; brothers-in-law Jim (Jess) Tyner and Rodney (Jessica) Tyner; many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; as well as her very close sister friends, Misty Pierce and Merry Kay Wright.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents, Art and Mary Jane Gendron; father and mother-in-law, Jim and Sherry Tyner; her sister, Paula Corsi; and her son-in-law, Kenny Kasten.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 31, at the Maranatha Assembly of God Church, 920 S. Carpenter Ave. with the Rev. David Wilton officiating the funeral service at 11 a.m. In honor of Pam's love of a good pair of blue jeans, the family requests you wear your favorite pair in her honor.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Maranatha Assembly of God Church.
