KINGSFORD -- Robert Andrew Wicklund, 73, of Kingsford, passed away peaceful on Oct. 14, 2026, at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba.
Bob was born Nov. 28, 1952, in Ironwood, to James and Jean Wicklund. He spent most of his life in Kingsford.
Bob enjoyed the simple things in life, especially fishing, hunting, campfires, and spending time outdoors. He particularly enjoyed spending time on his land, where he could often be found relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. He had a lifelong love of dogs, always having a loyal companion by his side, and they were thoroughly spoiled.
Bob had a great sense of humor, a fondness for colorful expressions, and always appreciated a little good old-fashioned "jocularity." He was handy with vehicles and always willing to lend a hand when his family needed him.
He is survived by his five children, Jenni, Amy, Trisha (Randy), Ryan (Samantha), and Stephanie (Joe); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including McKenna, Bailey, and Tanner, with whom he shared a special bond; his brothers, David and Bill Wicklund; his nieces, Carly and Sidney; and his nephew, Kyle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jean Wicklund.
Bob leaves behind plenty of memories, a few good stories, and lots of laughter.
A celebration of life will be held from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 7, at C&R Bar in Aurora, Wis.
