Mary L. Dulan

KINGSFORD — Mary L. Dulan, of Kingsford, passed away Monday, July 7, 2025, at Optalis Health & Rehabilitation in Kingsford. Mary was born on July 28, 1947, in Iron Mountain, daughter of the late Dorothy and Louie Fontecchio, and graduated from Florence High School in 1965. She married John C. Dulan on March 2, 1968, at American Martyrs Catholic Church. Johnny and Mary enjoyed raising their many beagles. They would also go trout fishing together; Mary loved fly fishing for the brookies. NIAGARA, Wis. — Roger F. Thomson, 66, of Niagara, Wis., passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson in Iron Mountain. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 12, at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain, with a brief service to follow at noon at the funeral home. KINGSFORD — James Edward “Jim” House, 89, passed away on June 19, 2025, in Florence, Wis. Born on Jan. 26, 1936, in Kingsford, Jim lived a life marked by adventure, achievement, and an unwavering passion for the outdoors and the sport of ski jumping. Jim’s journey into ski jumping began in 1952 with the Kiwanis Ski Club in Iron Mountain. A pioneer in his field, he was among the earliest American jumpers to adopt the innovative “Finn” style of jumping.
