QUINNESEC — Jack Omer Peterson, 85, of Quinnesec, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 25, 2026, surrounded by his family at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. Visitation will be on Friday, May 8, from 9 to 11 a.m. at American Martyrs Church in Kingsford. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11 a.m. at the church, with Father Greg Heikkala officiating. Interment will be held at the Quinnesec Cemetery. Arrangements were announced by the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain, followed by a service at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev.
