No benefit to US clash with Iran
Iran is not and never will be a threat to the U.S. Why, then, are superhawks U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Advisor John Bolton beating the drums for the U.S. to invade Iran? The only beneficiaries would be local rivals Israel and Saudi Arabia. Why should we fight their battles?
John Bolton helped get America into Iraq, with disastrous results. Thousands of Americans were killed or wounded and the Chinese got the Iraqi oil. Also, out of the ashes, the invasion created ISIS.
Iran is twice as big as Iraq and twice as mean.
