MCAC deserves financial help
EDITOR:
On Oct. 21, there was a letter in the Daily News written by Lola Johnson explaining the work done by the Medical Care Access Coalition, or MCAC. This organization has literally been a lifesaver for many people who otherwise could not afford their medications.
MCAC virtually runs on a shoestring budget. In order to keep this essential organization going, funds have to come from somewhere. Where? Private donations, corporate money and grants are necessary to continue providing aid to those who need it the most.
As of now, MCAC needs immediate financial relief as they continue to seek long-term stability.
