Putin not likely to be intimidated

President Donald Trump stated he would end the Russia-Ukraine war his first day in office. He made this insane statement a number of times. It’s not as if it was one of his looney-tune ideas of opening up Alcatraz again or buying Greenland or making Canada the 51st state. He stated this idea over and over of being a miracle worker and ending the war in one day.

For anyone who believed he could accomplish this, I have the Pine Mountain Ski Jump on sale at a good price if you are interested.

Do people honestly believe that a tough man like Putin, who could kill a man with his bare hands and not feel guilty about it, is going to be intimidated by a person like Trump, who throws insults around like bird seed but if one insult comes his way he falls apart?

The billionaire Republican, Mort Zuckerman, who is editor-in-chief of the conservative U.S. News & World Report, once stated: “I was in the same room with Putin. You immediately realize in his presence he is not a man to mess with.”

Quite honestly, Putin is not a man who can be bullied. Except for financial sanctions, which are not going to stop him, there is not a lot that can be done to halt the war in Ukraine — unless other countries are willing to get directly involved with boots on the ground.

What that could lead to is something unthinkable.
