Time to wake up about Trump

“He brings the Bible, holds it high, puts it down, lies.”

Remember those inspirational words now-President Donald Trump spoke, mocking U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz while he campaigned for the office of president? The base loved it. He was telling the established “political elites” like it was.

Sen. John McCain a hero? “He’s not a war hero. He was a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.” More words of inspiration that any veteran who’s ever served could cling to, knowing their service to country wouldn’t go unnoticed from a future Commander-in-Chief.

We all were taught at a very young age that actions speak louder than words. President Trump’s examples of attending places of worship — well, I’m speechless. I guess actions really do!

Poor Melania, she may not smile and enjoy all that fellowship. But his Evangelical base is so proud they have a devout Christian on their side.

To African American voters, “What the hell do you have to lose?” Ask George Floyd’s family that question, President Trump.

Mr. Jim Mattis, thank you for finally speaking up! Thank you for being the adult in the country, who hasn’t sold his soul to the devil for fear of Bone Spurs getting on Twitter slamming and degrading you. Thanks for defending our Constitution against this narcissistic, wannabe dictator.

The Republican Party hasn’t had a spine to tell this liar-in-chief enough is enough. What this country needs is a person who will unite. Dividing hasn’t worked.

I will never vote Republican ever again in my life.

Wake up, working-class and unemployed Americans. There is too much to lose Nov. 3.
