LaFave should debate opponent
Regardless of which political side one is on, there is always room for civil debate before an election. When an elected official refuses to debate his political opponent, it shows a lack of respect for our Democratic process and those he represents.
Public debate between a state Representative and his challenger is an important aspect of our political system. When an elected official refuses to debate, he displays a lack of respect for the people he serves.
Therefore, I respectfully request that state Rep. Beau LaFave schedule a public debate with his Democratic challenger, Dr. Renee Richer.
