First and foremost: Former Attorney General and ultra-conservative William Barr has stated that fraud did not play a part in the election of a new president. I think it’s fair to say he is a little more informed than most and is not part of any left-wing conspiracy. Considering the hooligans who attacked our nation’s Capitol I have yet to hear any reasoning of what they thought they were accomplishing by rampaging through it and yelling “U.S.A., America,” etc. The only thing accomplished is that a number of them are going to be spending a few years behind bars in maximum security prisons.

Jan. 6, 2021, will forever be a blight on our nation’s history. However, for better or worse considering your personal beliefs, our country withstood and is moving forward. Hopefully, our future will be bright enough to somewhat erase that blight.
