Willis shines light on FT dementia
In light of Bruce Willis’ recent diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, or FTD, I just wanted to let our community know that I’m here to help if you have questions or concerns for a family member or friend.
Our FTD journey with my father, Peter Johnson, was a long one, filled with challenges specific to living in a rural community. While I am by no means an expert, I do feel as though my personal experience could aid in helping you find the appropriate care and navigating the health care system, not to mention the legal/financial aspect of power of attorney and guardianship.
Many thanks to the Willis family for shining a bright light into the very dark corner where FTD lives. And to our dear friends and family who walked with and supported us for so many years.

My dad taught me everything I need to know to teach others. In tribute to him, I offer my help to you.
