EDITOR:

There are some in our county who would have you vote against the Bay College Iron Mountain Campus millage renewal proposal, but here are several reasons for voting YES —

— Vote YES if you, or someone you know, has benefited from taking classes at Bay College Iron Mountain Campus.

— Vote YES if you have had a student take a dual enrollment course while in high school, thus saving money.

— Vote YES if you have ever had nursing services from someone who took a course while pursuing their license through Bay College.

— Vote YES if you or someone you know benefited from EMT services provided by skilled medical personnel trained through Bay College.

— Vote YES if you believe in providing training for skilled laborers, such as welders.

— Vote YES if you believe that computer technology is important to Dickinson County.

— Vote YES if your employer or business needs trained, skilled workers.

— Vote YES if you believe in uplifting the future generations of Dickinson County residents.

— Vote YES if you believe in developing the economy of Dickinson County.

For all these reasons, and more, we will be voting YES on the Bay de Noc Community College operational millage renewal proposal. Mail your ballot or vote on or before Aug. 5.
