Letters to the Editor

Daily News deadline for election letters

1 min read

The Daily News will accept Letters to the Editor on the Nov. 3 elections through 5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28.

Letters should be as brief as possible -- ideally no more than 250 words -- but can be up to about 500 words. Potentially libelous statements and personal attacks will not be published. The Daily News reserves the right to edit letters for length, grammar and questionable statements, or to refuse to publish questionable letters.

Priority will be given to those who have not had a letter previously printed on the elections.

These letters must be signed, with a telephone number for contacting if needed -- not for publication -- and cannot be a Speak Out item.
