As an American Christian, I am puzzled by something that I see in our beloved country right now. Many of my brothers and sisters in Christ claim that America is and should be a "Christian nation."
Many of the same people support an "America First" approach to national policy. But Jesus said that the first shall be last, and the last shall be first (see Matthew 19:30, 20:16).
Would Jesus, whom we Christians claim to be the savior of the world, endorse an "American First" policy?
