Bouquets to the Florence County Forestry and Parks Department for their prompt action in repairing the boat guards on the dock at Badwater. I spoke with both Administrator Patrick Smith and a woman named Ashley on Tuesday, July 23, regarding the difficulties and dangers for seniors and the disabled in getting in and out of a boat, as well as the scuffing that occurs, without those posts, to the boats from the metal rails on the sides of the dock.
On Friday, July 26, we went to Badwater to see if by chance the job was done and it was!
