While removing curbside dirt Saturday afternoon, a white car pulled over and a young man named "Gavin" came to the rescue and helped me finish the job. I don't remember dirt being that heavy 80 years ago.

Monday was North Elementary's Field Day and what a glorious day it was. Not only did the weather cooperate with sunshine by the bucketful, but the events proceeded smoothly with an organized precision. Hats off to North Elementary School staff for all you do to make learning fun for our children. Hip hip hooray!
