Thanks for supporting ValenTAILS event for animal shelter

Bouquets and Barbs

Bouquet: The Almost Home Animal Shelter 2024 ValenTAILS Fundraiser was another record-breaking event. We had more silent auction items than ever and sold out of event tickets in record time.

The shelter’s fundraising committee cannot thank Venue 906 enough for donating the space for the event, and we do take advantage of every square inch. We always look forward to the fun and delicious specialty drinks that are featured after some of our adoptable animals.

Whatever can we say about Schultz Catering, except delicious and abundant!

We cannot thank everyone enough who made this year’s event the best one yet.

Many thanks to our generous sponsors and donors that contributed monetarily and/or items for the silent and live auctions.

Donors included: Platinum — In loving memory of Jill Recla; Dairy Queen of Kingsford; First Bank, Upper Michigan; Iron Mountain Animal Hospital; Joyce and Warren Brule Foundation; Kingsford Broach and Tool; Niagara Animal Hospital; Starship Enterprises; Nelson Paint Co.; and U.P. Truck Center. Gold — Great North Bank; Iron Mountain Iron Mine; Law Office of Andrea Mashak; Minerick Logging; Niagara Animal Hospital employee donations from Ashley Band, Brooke Harvath and Kassandra Soulier; Sagola Hardwoods; and Lynn and Bill Newcomer.

Many thanks to the volunteers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the event came together.

Many thanks to the staff, volunteers, and family members that assisted at the event itself.

We hope that all who came to this year’s ValenTAILS had a fantastic time.

We are looking forward to seeing you all again in 2025!
