I would like to take an opportunity to showcase my sincere appreciation and gratitude to Norway-Vulcan Schools on a personal level. My family was impacted by a tragic loss of my brother, Chris Recla, last weekend.

Athletic Director Tony Adams took a moment of silence for this loss at a match Tuesday, and it meant a great deal to me. This small community sure knows how to rally when one of us is in pain, and I will forever be grateful for this school and the ability to support their coaches, players and staff.

Lastly, thank you to Kayla Walker and the Norway volleyball team for their messages, and being there. Kayla, you have went above and beyond for me over this past week of heartbreak, thank you isn’t enough.

Lastly, Ericka Burklund for helping varsity with practice since I have been dealing with my loss. There is something to be said for us Yoopers, we are here for each other.
