After attending many Memorial Day activities over the years, I was impressed by the service conducted at the Norway Township Cemetery on Memorial Day. The honor/color guard assembled at the north end and made the slow march accompanied by the Norway City Band and fire/police officers. Their attention to detail and following of strict protocols were evident all through their procession to the ceremony site.

I have observed the old guard at Arlington National Cemetery many times, but this day was as close to that as I have seen since. Well done!
