My parents were patients of Dr Jacobs. He was so kind to them. My parents appreciated his common sense. He was always available to them when they needed his medical advice. He serve our community well.

I had the privilege of knowing Dr. Jacobs in a different way. In high school I dated his son, Fred, which gave me the opportunity to know both Dr. and Mrs. Jacobs on a personal level.

Their warmth, kindness and generosity made every visit to their beautiful home so welcoming. I was always invited to join them for a Michigan game and Christmas dinner, where they constantly treated me with such thoughtfulness and genuine care.

He started out being our doctor over 50 years ago but then he became more than a doctor but our friend, one we shared stories with, laughter and tears. Praying for one another was a great gem in our Christian friendship as we shared the love of Jesus our Lord together, may that always be a part of our friendship. He’ll always be thought of as our family doctor who was such an encouragement to the whole family. He delivered our son 54 years ago and did all the surgeries needed along with cast.

He is a man of a wealth of knowledge, always studying, always learning. He has a heart of compassion, giving and caring. The Felch community still misses your service in our little area.
