Sunday marked the 84th anniversary of what is arguably the 20th-century’s single-most significant event, at least as far as the United States is concerned. For it was 84 years ago that morning that more than 350 carrier-based warplanes of the Empire of Japan paid an unannounced visit to the U.S. Pacific Fleet stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Flu season appears to be early, so get vaccinated

With influenza activity increasing across parts of the United States, including in Michigan, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services encourages residents to take preventive steps now to protect themselves, their families and their communities as holiday travel and activities begin.
