The Republican Party calls upon all members of Congress and the American people to support the proposals of President Trump for the economic revitalization of our country. This includes passing the budget he has proposed, bringing tax relief to the middle class and revising our trade agreements so that American workers and small businesses are not disadvantaged in the global economy.

It is important to remember that President Trump has voluntarily foregone the salary to which he is entitled as Chief Executive of our country. How many of our elected officials, both Republican and Democrat, who are in many cases millionaires (or even multi-millionaires), would be willing to follow his example?

The tax reform package proposed by President Trump will cut taxes for hardworking, middle-class families, and will not shift the tax burden from higher-income households to lower- or middle-income households.

The tax reform proposal will also cut the corporate tax rate, making businesses competitive again in the global market. The current system punishes companies for doing business in America and encourages them to move to other countries. It is time to bring those companies back to America.

As we have seen since President Trump took office, Wall Street stocks have soared, the national GDP has started to grow again and people are re-entering the workforce, and he has done it with very little help from the Republicans or Democrats and he has done it in less than a year. I think it is time to support our President Donald J. Trump.
