It seems that far too often I read in The Daily News about another incident of sexual child abuse or child pornography in our area. It sickens me to think of any child being abused by these sick creeps.

It is time we take a serious approach to this problem and let these sickos know that they are not welcome in our area. No more “slap on the wrist,” but serious jail time.

I call on our prosecutor to “get tough” and to prosecute these sickos to the full extent of the law. I call on our judges to impose the harshest sentences permitted by law in every single case — no exceptions.

It is time to protect our children from these monsters. Enough is enough. Let us set an example the country can use to be rid of these creeps.
