Bingo at the Iron River Senior Center has been discontinued. I would like to see the return of bingo. I talked to many people and they all want bingo reinstated.

Playing bingo at the center was a place for senior citizens to be in contact with others on Sunday afternoons. Many of our seniors are alone on Sundays. It gave them a place to have fun and the opportunity to be with others.

As you probably know, there is not much going on for the seniors. They raised their families and many of their children probably do not visit with their parents like they should. They have their own lives to live.

So, please, keep bingo for the good of the community and the senior citizens.

It will be greatly appreciated by all those men and women who love to play bingo.
