Many people are fooled by Roe v. Wade, and believe that Democrats like to kill babies. Excuse me? Who benefits the most? Roe v. Wade is an awesome vote-getter for Republicans, by blaming Democrats, or they would have voted it out right now, while they are 100 percent in control of government. Yet they never even attempted to vote it out.

Simple research would show that only two out of the nine Supreme Court Justices who voted “yes,” on Roe V. Wade were Democrats, though most of those nine justices were nominated or appointed by Republican presidents. No woman who got pregnant had any Democrat forcing that sex, and no Democrat dragged her in to kill her baby. Each person who kills her baby has a conscience and a free will, so killing her own flesh and blood is personally hers to own.

Before Roe v. Wade, there was nobody else to blame for these murders, except themselves. Women did, or had, their own abortions, secretly. Dead babies and dead mothers from botched abortions were much more common then because there was no dependable birth control until the late ’50s.

Sister Joan Chittister, O.S.B., said:

“I do not believe that just because you’re opposed to abortion that that makes you pro-life. In fact, I think in many cases, your morality is deeply lacking if all you want is a child born but not a child fed, not a child educated, not a child housed.”

She is, of course, referring to Republican politicians who loudly claim to be pro-life but find that cutting funds to children and the elderly is one of the easiest places to find those extra billions for their corporative welfare. Many of these people need to take a course in “critical thinking.” Democrats are not the party of abortion.
