Working together — and apart — will get us through

EDITOR:

The world right now is in a crisis. The coronavirus is the cause, but we can lessen the damage that it causes. Instead of blaming governors for trying to keep you safe, thank them. I understand that some of the things they are doing seem extreme, but they are not. Look at China after they restricted people. They are now over the hurdle or at least have a much-improved situation. They have no new cases of it.

This is real. It isn’t something the news media or the Democrats have made up to make President Trump look bad.

We need to keep to ourselves, wash hands and cover coughs and sneezes. Another thing that shouldn’t be done is go into the grocery store and buy, buy and buy. Get what you need and leave products for the next person. We are not going to run out of food or personal products. There will be an issue if someone goes into a store and buys all of a certain product.

Support the restaurants that have stayed open to help us. Order meals to eat at home and buy gift certificates to use at a later date.

If we work together we can get past this. Blaming isn’t helping, it is just causing more problems.
