Center provides help for pregnant women in need

EDITOR:

What if there was an organization in our community that provided pregnant women with needed services to assist them, especially those lacking support or resources? Fortunately, there is such an organization — the Walk of Life Pregnancy Services Center. As a supporter of this organization, I am pleased to be able to tell you about some of their services.

Walk of Life’s mission is to provide resources for women who are often young and low income and have unmet needs. Some of their services include: providing tangible items such as maternity and baby clothing, diapers and other baby-related items. Also provided are information and education on pregnancy and fetal development, infant care and parenting skills. Emotional and spiritual support is also available.

Walk of Life provides these services free and confidentially, and like most non-profit organizations, your support is much appreciated. They are located at 1018 Cedar Ave. in Iron Mountain and their phone number is 906-774-5683.
