Stop selling combat weapons
EDITOR:
Mary Calo’s letter to the editor in the June 13 paper hit the nail on the head. I agree with everything she wrote.
Why AR-15 rifles are available for the general public is a mystery to me. They are made for combat. This should be a No. 1 priority to solve this problem. No more AR-15s for sale. Age has nothing to do with it.
I am also going to write to my people in Congress about this matter and hope others will do the same.
