Don’t be fooled by the words

“Oh what a tangled web we weave/When first we practice to deceive,” is a very “Shakespearean” phrase; however, it is not from Shakespeare. It comes from an early 19th century Scottish author, Sir Walter Scott.

This is what is happening with Proposal 22-3 on the November ballot in Michigan.

Commonly called “Reproductive Freedom For All”; who can argue against “Freedom for all”? The brief and ambiguous language is worthy of being called tangled and deceptive.

Before something so serious should be enshrined into our state constitution, much better language needs to be used.

Without life, freedom doesn’t matter. Please vote NO on Prop 3.
