EDITOR:

To all of you who collect aluminum can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee, I would like to have them turned in this week at the collection sites.

After I pick them up and get a final count, etc., I will deliver them to Goldin Iron & Metal Recycling in Kaukauna, Wis.

I will not be picking them up anymore for a while, probably permanently.

Continue to collect them but keep them at your homes.

Another letter will follow at a later date.

The Tab Toss this spring in Milwaukee collected more than 4,000 pounds — 6.6 million tabs — in two to three hours.
