KINGSFORD — The second annual Run for the Walls 5K to benefit Habitat for Humanity Menominee River will be Saturday morning.

The 5K run travels a paved route through east Kingsford past five Habitat homes. The start and finish is at the Menominee River Recreational Area in Kingsford.

The route accommodates strollers and leashed dogs are welcome. Race sponsors include Systems Control, BOSS Snowplow, Blagec Brothers, Edwards Automotive, and Dickinson County Health System.

Race day registration is 8:30 to 10 a.m., with the race beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Race day registration fee is $25 and T-shirts are available while supplies last. Awards will be given to the top overall male and female finishers and medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age division.
