Hockey: Weed hat trick lifts Flivvers past Soo

MARQUETTE — Eamonn Weed’s hat trick lifted Kingsford past Sault Ste. Marie 4-3 in non-conference high school hockey Friday.
The Flivvers (5-4) scored twice in the third period to erase a 3-2 deficit.
One of Weed’s three goals was unassisted. Trey Bociek had the other goal and Ethan Fox recorded an assist.
Kingsford goalie Trevor Anderson stopped 26 shots. The Flivvers had 25 shots on goal.
Kingsford faces Bay City at noon today in Marquette.
