Bobcats, Patriots honored

Softball

FLORENCE, Wis. — Four Florence players have earned All-Northern Lakes Conference softball first-team berths.

League coaches selected Bobcats juniors Jenna and Jordyn Springer and sophomores Lacey Enders and Sidney Tomczak to the first team. Goodman-Pembine sophomore Kalen Berger also made the first team.

Laona-Wabeno senior Elizabeth Tinsman led the first team with NLC Player of the Year honors. Sophomore teammate Halia Babich also landed first-team designation with Alexa Neilitz and Sarah Kalkofen of Crandon.

Florence junior Kendra Milan was a second-team choice with Autumn Schallock, Lindsay Littleton and Micasslyn Crawford of Crandon; Carissa Belland and Kaitlyn Paulsen of Elcho; Annabelle Cleereman and Paige Peterson of Laona/Wabeno; and Gabby Dal Ponte of Three Lakes/Phelps.

Honorable mentions included Florence junior Faith Neuens and Goodman-Pembine sophomores Kalli Erickson and Katelyn Nelson.

Baseball

FLORENCE, Wis. — Florence junior Kaden Schuls and Goodman-Pembine senior Colby Nelson have been named to the All-Northern Lakes Conference baseball first team.

League coaches named Laona-Wabeno senior Derek Moravec as the NLC Player of the Year. He was joined on the first team by teammate Robert Brauer; Bradley Shepherd, Riley Weber and Trevor Hefter of Crandon; Mac Morrison of Elcho; and Andrew Gill and Mitchell Wolosek of conference champion Three Lakes/Phelps.

Florence junior Toby Wheeler and sophomore Braden Boettcher made the NLC second team with senior Caleb Nelson of Goodman-Pembine; Nolan Castellion of Crandon; Jacob Eighmy of Elcho; Connor Taylor of Laona-Wabeno; David Kaufman and Henry Siedschlag of Three Lakes/Phelps; and Blake Baehman of White Lake.
