Prep volleyball: Knights fall
NORWAY — The Rapid River volleyball team picked up its first win of the season here Tuesday, edging Skyline Central Conference opponent Norway 3-1 (25-14, 21-25, 26-24, 25-23).
“Our girls stuck with it and they kept fighting,” Rockets’ coach Kristy Kerstner said. “After the first match Norway really gave us a run, but we stuck with it and kept fighting.”
Kristin Goodacre led the Rockets with 16 kills. Gabby Moss added eight and Myah Pearson had three.
Norway hosts Stephenson Thursday.
