IRON MOUNTAIN — Displaying a balanced offense and smothering defense, Iron Mountain stayed undefeated Saturday with a 48-20 win over Charlevoix in an MHSAA Division 7 district final at Mountaineer Stadium.

The Mountaineers led 34-0 at halftime.

Caleb Evosevich-Hynes ran for 210 yards and two touchdowns and caught a 25-yard pass for another as Iron Mountain racked up 501 yards of offense. Marcus Johnson threw for 148 yards and three TDs.

Jake Dumais and Bryce Pietrantonio had interceptions for the Mountaineers, who will host Traverse City St. Francis in a state quarterfinal game next weekend.
