Nordics take down Hawks

FELCH — In Skyline Central Conference Girls Basketball Tuesday night, the North Dickinson Nordics defeated the Republic-Michigamme Hawks 73-14 in the Carl F. Lemin Jr. Gymnasium.

“We got off to a fast start tonight, and everyone played multiple positions. I am happy about both things,” said Nordics head coach Kirk Mattson.

Every player on the Nordics roster scored in the game as well.

Ashton Hord led ND with a game high 16 points. Chrislynn Inglese and Skye Ledzian each added 12 points, while Brianna Smith chipped in 11. ND is now 2-1 (1-0) and travels to Bark River-Harris on Friday. In the JV game, ND defeated R-M 37-24.
