Norway buries Mid Pen 67-38

NORWAY — With three players in double figures, Norway cruised past the Mid Peninsula Wolverines Monday night 67-38 in boys Skyline Central Conference basketball action.

Kody Hendricks led the Knights with 18 points, while Logan Parolini chipped in 15, including three 3-pointers. Zach Seat added 14 points off the bench.

“I thought Zach (Seat) had a nice game for us off the bench,” said Norway coach Jeff Gallino. “It was good to see him get involved in the offense tonight.”

Norway led 49-14 at halftime, and 49-25 at the end of the third quarter.

“Credit coach (Carl) Branstorm’s kids played hard, despite only dressing six players tonight.” said Gallino. The Wolverines had two players sit out for disciplinary reasons.

Joe McNally led Mid Pen with 14 points, while Dylan Trudell added 11.

Norway now 2-0 on the season, remains home to host long time rival Iron Mountain in non-conference action on Friday night.

Norway won the JV game 59-20.
