Patriots post 2nd win

GOODMAN, Wis. — Boone Larison and Lamarr Lewis led Goodman-Pembine past Elcho 55-33 in Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball action Friday.

G-P led 24-16 at the half, then outscored Elcho 31-15 in the second half.

Boone Larison and Lamarr Lewis combined for 25 points for the Patriots (2-0). John Slowik led the way for Elcho with nine points.

“Our bench players were able to get some playing time tonight, which is always a good thing this early in the season,” said Patriots head coach Jeff Zerbst. “Nice to get our first conference win of the season, in our first conference game.”

GP host Crandon at Pembine on Thursday night for another Northern Lakes tilt.
