HARRIS -- Norway battled through foul trouble before falling to Bark River-Harris 45-33 in Skyline Central Conference girls basketball Friday.
"We had way too many unforced turnovers and their full-court pressure forced us to play at their tempo," said Norway coach Joe Tinti. "We had foul trouble in the first half and had to sit two starters for extended periods."
Kassie Gyselinck led the Knights with 14 points. Bark River-Harris, which led 31-16 at halftime, got 12 points from Allison Richer.
"We have a lot of takeaways from this game that will make us better as we go forward," said Tinti. "We played pretty good defense."
The Knights jayvees rallied for a 44-36 win.
Norway, still seeking its first win, travels to Carney-Nadeau on Tuesday.
