Schuls dials up 30, ‘Cats rout Phelps

FLORENCE, Wis. – Kaden Schuls hit five times from 3-point land on his way to a game-high 30 points, and Florence rocketed to 8-2 with a 71-47 Northern Lakes Conference victory over Phelps Tuesday.

Freshman Evan Johnson chipped in 12 points and Riley Hixon added 10 for the victorious Bobcats.

“It was a solid team win,” said Florence head coach Bryan Bomberg. “We still have to work on some things, but we are coming around. I am proud of our team and their effort tonight. Phelps is well-coached. Chris (Radar) does a nice job with them.”
